- Install a lock box so that 4000+ area agents may conveniently
show your property
- Gather appropriate information for entry into the Multiple
Listing Service
- Obtain utility information, the age and condition of major
heating and cooling components, as well as the required seller's
disclosure statement
- Contact current prospects to offer a private showing
- Search for additional prospects via property matches on the
Multiple Listing Service, phone calling, direct mail and advertising
- Develop effective ads for the Internet, JBGoodwin Web Site,
Austin American Statesman and the "Homes" magazine
- Arrange for agent tours and office "caravans" to
increase agent exposure to your property
- Explain details of the purchase agreement and negotiations
- Explain property inspections and appraisal procedures
- Offer a weekly update and follow-up on showings
- Promote your property at weekly sales meetings
- Supervise regular inspections and lawn maintenance if property
is vacant
